I am feeling honour & proud to write this message for our college website. I wish to convey that our college provides a stress free environment where students learn with joy and happiness. Our endeavour at H. B. B.Ed. College is to provide the platform where our students can take up the opportunity and the challenge to do the things they are capable of and rise to their potential, on all fronts – curricular and co-curricular.
We are committed to traditional Indian values and culture for students to keep a connect with their identity, but we also recognise the need for a global perspective in life. Educational institutions are aplenty, all of which impart learning, but it is our prayer that our students go out into the world with the strength, not only to reach and excel in their professional aspirations, but to remain beautiful human beings.
Educational technology has permeated all areas of life. Our endeavour is to integrate technology and its range of application 'throughout the classroom' in an attempt to improve the quality of learning instruction. Modern teaching strategies, provision of student enrichment unit, recognition of various student learning styles and culture of academic support create a special learning community at H. B. B.Ed. College.
We hope to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where work, sports and co-curricular activities will mould our students and spur them on to be the brightest and the best. In order to do this, the parents and the school authorities must work together to inculcate certain values in the students. Respect for one's elders, especially the teachers and a commitment to discipline are engraved in Indian culture. Let us inculcate these ideals in our younger generation. A student who has respect for the teacher will be more receptive to authority and to learning. This will enable him/her to get the best out of the college. A student who is taught discipline will learn the power of self control. Freedom, to be truly effective, needs the guidance of discipline. To be successful, we need self-discipline which teaches us to sacrifice individual interest in favour of group interest.
